In 2021, the familiar theme continues that women represent a relatively small percentage of the aviation industry (including pilots and mechanics), and that this is not a desirable outcome. When I began flight training (towards Private Pilot certificate) in 1993, the percentages were similar, and the statistics have plateaued. What is happening? What is wanted? What has not been considered? What can be done?
